Photographer’s Note
Humans are like ants in the shadow of their own accomplishments.
Peasants cycling through fields in the middle of Bagan, sorry kind of harsh light, but I really like this pic.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Nice shot. But it is sort of too tight at the right and the left could have been a little wider too. Would have been wonderful if you could have got the little temple on the left completely. And yeah, sorta too exposed?.

Salut Daniel,

this one is a wonderful one Daniel, i really love it!. i like the softness as well. i thought at the beginning that it wasnt sharp, but there was nothing wrong with it.. its probably your lens' performance or maybe scanning.. did you ever try to play with the unsharp mask a bit? - but anyway its not a big deal at the end.. its a very good shot, and this is what it counts for me at the end of the day.

Bonjour Daniel,
Bravo.

They are tiny and it's a surprise, for me anyway. It really gives the scale to the building in the back as it rises from the grasses and trees. I like when old buildings and ruins are in landscapes like this, now. It gives such a contradiction in scale and feel. But somehow they merge together. The angle you have and the composition works very well with the temple sort of looking on the people linking two corners well. there is the exposure problem. I think it might be able to be fixed with some burning and adjustments in photoshop. If I get a chance I'll have to try a workshop.
