[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
About 1/5 of the original image, this crop of a panoramic details the family oriented nature of working together in Myanmar. I asked if I could help unload the boat as well... so after I took this photograph, I did just that. Where else in the world can you leave 8k worth of photo gear laying on the shores of a river and not have to worry about it? Only in Myanmar with these gentle souls.

Yes, the little guy on the right is quite a character... this image was taken on the bend in the Ayeyarwaddy River due West of Old Bagan. Handheld Noblex image w/ Ilford 400 BW. The background is overexposed, but it was strongly backlit as the sun was setting ( I consider myself very fortunate to have gotten this exposure especially since there is no light meter in this camera - I was forced to guess on the exposure).

You show 1/5 of the photo but told the whole story about it :). You may be right about how honest Burmese people are in general and go anywhere without any incident for many part of the country. Smiling and helping hands are in everywhere. Ok, the background was overexposed but you got right on the main subject. Which is all that matter, I think.
