Photographer’s Note
The Ider River flows northwest, to become the Selenge River, which eventually joins Lake Baikal's central eastern shoreline. Notice the dented trash racks & dip at the back of this decrepit old bridge.
Another superb view here:

Hello Chris,
I like your photo a lot, the bridge is really original - I would not try to drive a car over that bridge - it doesn't look so stable :)
Nice POV and colors,

Hello Chris,
Superb light and colours for this fine composition. I like the point of view allowing us to see the mountain peaks in the background. Great sharpness that helps emphasise how rickety the bridge is.

Bonjour Chris,
une composition toute simple avec un ouvrage traditionnel mais sans doute suffisant pour traverser cette rivière.
Belles lumières et couleurs naturelles.

hi Chris
Amazing bridge, a classic example of what is called 'un-even settlement' of the river piers.
Made entirely of wood, such a thing is rare to find, especially of this height. This is what TE is all about, Chris, of learning about the world through photography. Danny's version is great to show the full bridge.
A crude way to build but it works.
Thanks. Bill

Hi Chris,
Has seen better days for sure, but a good shot as a reminder to those that travel in the area. The diagonal lines add punch and the details and colors work well. TFS. Gerald

Hello Chris,
An extremely interesting picture of this old rusty bridge, we don't see to many around here. I also like the diagonal and the warm rust colors which give such a distinct character.

Hello Chris,
very nice presentation of this wooden bridge over the Ider River.I like the colorful hues and the brilliant lights but in combination with the shot by Danny Yee, i wonder if it is save to passing by a car over it, because of it is not a straight line.Well done.

It is not often we get to see wooden bridges of this advanced design!
The point of view is effective, resulting in an attractive composition with a strong diagonal...

Namaste Chris
The bridge definitely looks derelict, maybe fit only for walking! Reminds me of the bridge of R.Kwai. It is also interesting to see the trash metals on the bed. A fine picture in what appears to be harsh light, from a part of the world where we see so few pictures of.
Regards
Angshu
