Tuul River II Photo

Photographer’s Note

The Tuul River originates in Terelj Gorkhi National Park, about 80 km north east of Ulan Bator. It eventually flows into Lake Baikal.

My original planned destination was Miraj Ger Camp, but so many people were on the bus, I couldn't see the sign on the right, (I was seated on the left), so I was carried 12 km or so, too far, to this place. I spent a night or 2 here. Not such a bad place to while away 2 days. The hiking in the hills around here was pretty good, too. And there's swimming as well, if it's hot. There are no rivers at Miraj, Khan, or Terelj Ger Camps. Polarized for saturation.

Another beautiful view from Mongolia, this wooden area seems the ideal place to relax, so cool and quiet... I wonder what happened to the hill in the distance...

A really pleasant view of the river with most attractive colours and a nice sunlight. The blue of the water is nicely surrounded by the green of the trees. The composition is good as well. Thanks for sharing!
