Salut Francine,

Amicalement
Marc

hello Francine,
this how I've always imagined Mongolia - endless open wind-swept space, all shades of brown. I like a lot the line of the electricity poles, that's a great contrast between wilderness and everyday "civilization". the man and his horse look tiny compared to the landscape, this is a very powerful photo.
with kind regards,
Kristine

Hi Francine,
I like the feeling of desolation and solitude here, and I find the colouring very nice too. Well composed with the one animal walking out of the frame.

bonjour francine
an eternal scene, i would say... the steppe as it was thousands of years ago and the man with his horse (probably would have looked the same). just.... the power line perspective in the background are reminding us of the current times. love it. however, i might have cloned out the cow [i know it's me].
warm regards,
kristaps

Bonsoir Francine,

Branko

Pictures from this country look like another planet to me. I've never seen anything like it. I love this picture of this man with his horse and cow. There's a real peacefulness about it. TFS
hello Francine
I can see that you are really an avid traveler to many countries with your D70. How do you plan for it?
The golden yellow field here gives a nice backdrop to your capture of the man and his horse. The interval of fence posts also showing a direction and good DOF. I am surprised that without strong direct light, the exposure still goes up to 1/2000s. For April it is just emerging springtime?
I like the contrast and sharpness in your shot. Thanks for sharing this, Bill

Bonjour Francine,

Bonjour Francine! Not many people in this area :) You have "caught" the isolation with the man and his horse trotting through the plains. They seem to have a little bit of energy and the first elctric light has obviously arrived in this part of the world also. We cannot blame them, it is so easy to press the buttom, isn't it? Very nice work, I like it a lot. Barbara.

Bonjour Francine
A lot of emptiness, minimum of colours, two horses and a man...this could be from any time period...pure & simple. Beautiful!
Regards
Angshu
