A Mongolian man and his horse walk past an Ovoo in Terelj National Park, Mongolia.
Ovoos are sacred mounds of stone topped with blue khadags (prayer scarves). The ritual is to walk around an Ovoo three times in a clockwise direction, toss an offering such as a stone on to the mound and make a wish. |

Hi Marlene, wonderful composition with splendid colors and excellent sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio
Interesting location - what a dramatic desert landscape to get to see. This shot is well composed of the man and his horse. Nice strong colours, too.
Cheers!

Hello Marlene
Such an interesting explanation about the Ovoo. The picture is alive with clear natural color; details are nice and sharp. Excellent job!
Warm wishes,
Betty
Hi Marlene,
great compositiion, although the pic is a little bit noisy. I like to visit Mongolia as soon as it will be possible to get a three weeks holiday in one piece. TFS,
