[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Cavalry Ride was comprised of 500 soldiers. It was one event held to mark the 800th Anniversary of the Great Mongolian State. A scene right from Genghis Khan's army. It was truely something to witness. The dust, noise and sheer energy of the spectacle was amazing.

Great action shot ! Movement, color, sharpness everything is here. The right horseman is maybe a little "squeezed" (not enough space on the right).

Very spectacular view of Mongols cavliers ! Despite dust, light is interesting and compo efficient with the mountains in the background.

Well done.

Amazing action shot! The sense of speed and motion is good, but the detail is also incredible. You can even see the expressions on the faces of the riders. Well done!

Hi Benjamin.
That's a very interesting and beautiful action scene that you've managed to capture here. In any other country than mongolia, I would have been a kind of sceptic about the authenticity of such a cavalry ride, thinking to something that would be closer to a tourist trap rather than to a real traditional event. The square crop is perfect here and it gives balance to the dynamic composition.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Benjamin,

Your this series are excellently continuing. Tones, their movement and dust clouds are really splendid in gorgeous clarity and sharpness. Congratulations.

Friendly Regards,

Hi Ben,
This incredible collection of photos of this event are absolutely outstanding in every way.
The dynamism and energy you've managed to capture here is extraordinary and yet, for all the action, the photo is unbelievably sharp. As well as that, the composition is perfect, the light and colours are brilliant, and I can't see how the contrast could possibly be any better. Adding to this is the sense of depth, which is enhanced by the dust partially masking the riders in the background, and the result is one of the truly great images on this website.
The way I see it, this photo is absolutely flawless. Thank you so much for sharing the experience through your photography. It's a shame I can't award you more than one bright green smiley for it because it deserves much more.

Hugs,
Tony

Hmmmm wouldn't want these after me! yet another excellant action shot. Your use of the depth of field is just as good here to and the dust is a bonus. I would have liked to see 500 of them charging, what a sight

Bonjour Benjamin
Nicole
