While most of the group went climbing one of the dunes in the Gobi desert I decided to wait for them at the bottom, relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Though we arrived to the spot with old green vans (seen in the background) this was obviously the place for dune climbing so locals with camels were there to offer their services in case someone would like to ride one. All of the sudden I looked up and saw that one of the camels decided the greenest pastures are those few bushes around me… Well, we were polite to each other – I didn’t move not to freighten her and she remembered she was vegetarian…
I know it would be better if the camel was not in the shade but it wasn’t negotiable…

I love this, your capture has brought a wide smile to my face today
The camel has such a great expression, almost as if she was surprised by your presence. Don't think h being in shade has any negative effect at all, in fact the way the slice of light divides the frame is beautiful and make the image even more special. Thanks for sharing this great moment.

L'image est belle sans nul doute, quand bien même le chameau est dans l'ombre. J'aime beaucoup la posture prise par l'animal.
Merci également pour la note très intéressante.
