Photographer’s Note
At the big buddhist temple in Ulan Bataar. This day went from nice to bad to worse in about 45 minutes. 10 minutes after I took this picture, it started to pour with rain, 20 minutes after there was a huge hail storm, which accumulated to an inch thick on the ground. For the next few hours, every street in the city was flooded. Fun times...

The white of the temple with the dark sky works well. Maye a tad to much sky but otherwise a very nice shot.

Hi Mike a good shooting angle that maximizes the contrast between the clear building and the dark sky, well seen. Good light and colors saturation too.

I like the feeling of low angle and perspective in this one. Majestic sky, very threatening. Maybe a bit more on the left had been good.

Hey Mike,
Sounds like ya barely escaped with your life! haha I've seen some horrible hail storms in my time as well, but luckily I was viewing them from indoors:D What a beautiful & powerful sky...I like how the nice bright golden temple contrasts with the eerie sky. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention than it has.
