Photographer’s Note
Between lines there's always something more, something different. It's not what we read, it's what we do want to read!
Took in Mongolia two years ago, UAZ truck is many many times the only means of transport and the funny, nice thing to know for me, is that this is valid for tourists and people living there as well.

Hi Rikk,
Firstly I llike your title, it suits this shot. The lonely van looks so isolated in the middle of nowhere. Great with the brown lines of the road intersecting the bright green.

Hello Rikk! I always wanted to travel with such a mobile, it has something so totally hippi-like although I am far away from being one but it has this free style feeling. Yes it is what we want to read, nicely put and working well with your picture. What I want to read in your photo? Maybe that the time stands still in this very corner. But I guess many people out there are aware that their life is changeing too and quickly. Let's enjoy this ride here! This is a fantastic picture. I like it a lot! Best regards, Barbara.

Hi Rikk,
You have captured well a sense of isolation with the van looking so small compared to the wide expanse of land. Love the contrasting colours also. Well done!
Cheers, Michele

Hello Rikk
There is a real sense of remoteness in this scene which typifies Mongolia. Things are changing in Mongolia though as more visitors arrive - which included me a couple of years ago. Where are all the lines leading? Tfs, Marlene
