Photographer’s Note
Garage 24 was so named, as it was the terminus for Russian 4x4 vehicles, driving across Lake Khovsgol midwinter, when it was frozen solid. With the collapse of the USSR in 1991 the garage fell into disuse. Next door is the relatively new Garage 24 backpackers guesthouse. You can stay in dorms or gers.
The colour & texture reminded me of the old Led Zeppelin 4 album cover.

Hello Chris,
I like the use of the old wall as a frame and the repeating geometric patterns of the old fence. Pleasing soft colours and light. I would perhaps crop an inch or so off the left hand side.

Here you could have gone a bit more contrasty Chris to get the texture out of the wall darker in contrast with the view, I tried in a WS and thanks to all details you had already, it was possible to get this out.

Hi Chris,
even the content is different, the composition is not to far away from Led Zeppelin and I like to give you the Misty Mountain Hop for that comparison. :-)
The texture of the wall has a great effect together with that landscape view through the remaining rest of the window, which has a soft surrealistic touch. I had yesterday the first view on that and with each moment the impression changes. I like this a lot.

Hi Chris, I missed your preceding one which is very beautiful, yet I was attracted by this one first : a moody photo, unusual angle and amusing in a way - interesting and original view, I like the FG too !

Bonjour Chris
j'aime beaucoup ce cadrage et cette barrière. Belle gestion de l'exposition pour faire ressortir à la fois le mur et le paysage derrière.
amicalement

Hi Chris,
Well chosen POV and very good natural window.
Interesting idea for the photo. I also like WS of oochappan with stronger colours.

Hello Chris,
I like the point of view that creates fine diagonals!
Nicely framed view to the landscape outside, where the fence is a natural eye-catcher...
Well composed, good textures in the wall!

Namaste Chris
A fine frame within a frame which stands out because of the colour contrast. Comparison with the old Led Zep cover is actually quite apt. Henk's WS is really good & brings the beauty of this picture well. Good work!

Hi Chris,
fantastic window! The decaying white wall revealing underneath structure gives excellent framing to intensive green grass of spring. This small view summorizes the whole surrounding scenery of pastures and smooth hills, divided by crafted fences. Wonderfully seen!
Kind regards,
Jeri
