Another view of Lake Khovsgol at Jankhai, a gorgeous promontory jutting out into the lake. Still a bit nippy for swimming, even in summer. (The lake is frozen solid for much of the year.) I liked the striking colour contrast, between the red log, & crystal clear, cyan lake. Polarized. There are some threatening thunderstorm clouds, top left.

Hello Chris! Nice lightness, very nice colors. Original POV and capture. Beauatiful place. Good shot. Good luck!

Hello Chris,
A good composition with the rotting tree trunk acting as a finger post, drawing the viewer into the scene. I like the angle formed by the coastline and the soft light and colours.

Very good composition..!
Best regards,

Hi Chris,
two things from this one impress me very strong, but I like the whole one. The first is the nice shadow of the tree on the beach and water and the second is the good transparency of the water, not only the first part also in the deeper one with different shades. It looks to me a bit very sharp.

Hello Chris,

Also a crystal clear picture Chris, as well as the water.
Nice perspective through the good choice of the angle, also good depth and lovely with the curve on the end of this image.
Nic ecomposition and pleasant colours.

Hello again
I see, I must travel through your gallery. My friend just went to Mongolia to buy some camels to Charlotta Valley. I would like to travel there, although I doubt if I`ll find time in a lifetime... So meantime I`ll try to know this country from the photographs :).
Lovely light and nice composition.
Regards

Aaah, just imagine it's a Thai beach...
A beautiful siberian (almost) version of it I suppose, that conifer can almost substitute for a coconut palm.
It looks a bit bright on my monitor.
