Photographer's Note

Taken in the Western Gobi on a field trip to look for gold. The various colours representS alteration patterns in the underlying rock. If fluids are focused it may form a gold deposit. In this case there was no focussing and the alteration / mineralisation fluids popped up everywhere creating these patterns.
