Photographer’s Note
This is taken on the west side of Hotan Nur in Tavanbogd National Park. There are a few rivers on that side of the lake that don't have bridges crossing them, so the only option is to find a good, shallow looking section, then cross. This shot was taken just after we finished crossing the deepest river. Before the river, my driver stopped the jeep for about 15 minutes to:
- put a sock in the engine intake,
- close the radiator vent
- cover all the spark plugs with plastic bags
- disconnect the fan belt
After all this, we just had to pray that we didn't get stuck in the river. The deepest part of the river was actually about 4 feet deep, as the water came up over the hood to the windshield of the jeep!
Everything ended up just fine. When we got to the other side, I opened my door and noticed a huge stream of water coming out of the inside, so I took a picture of the back door just after my friend opened it.

Hello Tuffellow!
The way you have captured the water running off of the jeep is amazing, so clear!
The contrast between the white jeep and the colors in the background really make it a great pic.
My only suggestion would be to make the grass greener especially the grass by the jeep and the jeep whiter.
Well Done =)

Well thanks for commenting on my cow pic. I see you like to go places. I like this shot because of your Decisive moment aspect. you are telling a story. Suggestion to improve this ?? Perhaps close the door jsut a little next time to show where you came from. You did well in including the front tire in the shot. That helps put it together.
