Photographer’s Note
I have no idea where exactly this was taken as it was only a quick stop on our first day of travel in Mongolia to snap a few pics of the beautiful scenery. This place was extra special due to the amazing aromas coming from lavender (or whatever it was a field of). The best part was the scenery changed nearly every day! More to come!

Hallo, Shael.
I really like this picture, I can almost smell the lavendar. The dark, sharp-edged hills are a good contrast to the softly coloured grasses. I like deep blue sky on the right balancing the blue of the distant hills on the left. The pale line of the road rising from left to right also helps to give an impression of distance.
I think it would be improved by cropping some sky off the top, thus getting rid of the wire and making a panorama.
Best wishes,
Winifred
