Photographer’s Note
The sun was just rising as this photo was taken through the window of a moving train - the Trans-Mongolian Railway bound for Beijing.
I was lucky to catch Chinggis Khaan(Genghis Khan) between apartment buildings on the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar. His profile is made with white stones and the apartment buildings appear to have been positioned so as not to block the view of Mongolia's most famous leader.

Hi Marlene
A lovely "grab the moment" photo. Not easy to do from a moving vehicle.
Well done.

Congratulations on capturing this unique image! I love the face of Khaan on the hill - it's quite something. Well framed and nice low sunlight.
Cheers,

This is an interesting view! Nice sharpness even though it was from a moving train, and the warm sunlight is nice, too. The large Chinggis Khaan seems to watch over the buildings, and almost seems to have life to it. :-)
