[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the countryside in Mongolia, it is common for tourists to stay with families in their gers (yurts). The night before I took this, we had stayed with the family of these two little girls.

great great shot!
Great colors, great composition!.
But the best is their faces. You can almost feel the wind, and see it blowing their hair.
I like the yellow and green strips at the left. Very good choice not to crop them.

and I like the dalmatic dogs from Disney - like saying that the world is getting smaller.

Excellent job! :-D

Wonderful photo! The colors are slightly muted, which I find very appropriate. Their expressions are marvelous, and your composition, with the girls slightly off center, works very well.

Very beautiful!!
Good job to have preserved their natural look, while taking a "planed" shot. The Ger is there, thanks to the yellow/green door so this braught back memories...

Marvelous photograph! Mesmerizingly simple, yet so effective. I love how the girl to the right, while visibly feeling the wind coming from the side, remains so focused on looking into your camera lens. I agree with the others that the yellow/green door to the left tremendously adds to the composition.

That's a really nice portrait and it's really moving to see such shy little girls.

I guess you could sharpen the picture a little bit to add more impact but that's a really nice portrait !

By the way, I just read your Travellog about this beautiful trip in Mongolia : I appreciate the informative tone and the details. Well done !

Very fine and awesome portrait of these two girls - it seams that even on a mongolian desert disney do have some influence of life ;-) Tanks for sharing Mini.

Even if they have a very nice pijama, i would have liked to see only the expression on their faces

a lovely portrait of these two girls. it is a good shot... you have many, I enjoyed looking through your gallery and I will keep an eye out for more photos from you.

Hi Mimi,
I know this is an old photo, and I am not sure if you are still around, but I really like it and I just discovered it today browsing the Mongolia gallery. I did a workshop. Hope you don't mind.
