[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Between the islands of Dhigufinolhu and Velingandua is a wooden bridge where you could walk from one island to the other. If you ask for a reason for the bridges ... just enjoy it.

An additional comment (thanks to Antonio for his remark):
there is another bridge in the background which goes to another very little island with a anchorage ground. The bridge is used for transportation of food and other things.

sorry for the quality, captured with a waterproofed one-way pocket camera, scanned from a negative, cropped, saturation.

Hi Achim,
A very interesting post!
We can see how long is this bridge.
Very good the way the perspective becomes it in a narrow point at the top end.
I appreciate the effort to enhance the image th better to post here, due to thte waterproof one way camera...
The place looks like a paradise!
Congratulations and tahnsk for share it.
My best regards,
JM

Without being a perfect picture it is anyway very interesting. Connecting the islands with bridges is an excellent idea and I believe quite original as I had never seen such thing. Is that a second bridge going to another island on the background? And is coral all that dark stuff in water? It must be a very beautiful place. Well done.
Antonio

Doesn't matter, the quality is good enought to see the other bridge to the left and the little houses in front of the sea. It looks like a nice place to stay and to have fun.
Cheers,
Jean-Claude

Hello Achim,
Good perspective of the wooden bridge, I like this POV, well done.
Regards
Christian

Before reading your note I first thought you were standing at the end of a long jetty. I really like the different point of view this image imples, standing on the end of the jetty and showing us the island/beach instead of showing us the wide ocean/beautiful sunset with a jetty as foreground element. If you know what I mean :-D

Hallo Achim,
ich weiß nicht wie es wirklich war, aber so (Workshop) finde ich es besser. Der Holzweg ist zu schade, um ihn so blass zu lassen. Durch den langen Blick kommt eine Wahnsinnstiefe zustande.
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

What a perspective Achim - the bridge almost seems to be floating. Best regards, Roberto

Hello Achim,
Important is intention and not necessarily necessary is the very good equipment exercible of the very good photograph. I admire with the clean water which I see on this photo. So the clean water is the rareness in Europe. Very nice perspective.
Best regards,
Jurek

Hello Achim,
Amazing perspective in a tropical paradise. An almost surrealistic composition with a small number of elements that come together to make a very appealing image. I like the patterns in the sea either side and the red roofs on the tiny distant houses.

Aaaaa, oooh Achim a SUPERB image.
Sooooo great composed and framed!!!
Very very effective.
Congratulations
Evan

Bonjour,

Très belle photo, cette recherche de profondeur est mangifique.

Bravo et excellente journée, shana

Hi Achim,

this is perfect for me. Tell me this place exists...Very good compostion with nice POV and soft colors. You really didn't need to oversaturate the image. That's a tendency in landscape photos, but here it's not necessary. Well done!
Regards,
Carlos

Bonjour Achim
Le regard suit bien le ponton dans ce lieu paradisiaque. On aurait envie de se laisser conduire jusqu'au bout.
Merci pour le partage et bonne soirée.
Nicole

Nice shot, with a very interesting walkway, which gives some nice converging lines to point the way to the island. The quality is really pretty good, so no apologies necessary. Well done!

Nice subtle pastel colours, excellent perspective provided by the boardwalk.
Best wishes
Mark

Hello Achim,
Thanks you for sharing this beautiful oceanscape. The composition is balanced. The bridge is interesting, and the colors of the sky and ocean are quite appealing. Best regards - Danilo

Beautiful landscape and long perspective in this image Achim, beautiful place and image of it, your use of the non perfect symmetry is clever and done more interest to the image, copliments.
Ciao
Vinicio

Hi Achim, yes i think you did your best if it's taken with a waterproof pocket camera ... but this is enought to make us feel the beauty of the place, to marvel of the scene and the perspective leading straight to paradise.
A delight

Hello Achim
I prefer this original shot than the WS.
It's a very interesting composition but I suggest to to shift the junction point of the perspective on your right on a strong point.
Cheers.

Excellent perspective & colors here! I'm also jealous that you went to my dream location for a holiday! Regards, Doug
