Photographer’s Note

Lagoon, rare clouds for March, a dhony boat and the reef line on the horizon...pure Maldives style, anything else.
nothing more.
That were the only one clouds that we saw during all our vacations in February and March around Maldives.

immagine molto bella con fantastica luce filtrante tra la massa di pesanti nuvole. é molto bello anche il colore argentato del mare nonché la composizione con la barca messa lí a puntino per te nell'angolo basso. Complimenti e buona settimana!

Very beautiful mixture of sean sand and silhuete,
I like the earth toned colurs and beautiful sky. The boat is a bit crowded on the left and I think framing the photo just a little bit more to the left would have been good.

The image simply breathtaking with the greatest artistical connotations that seems (the place) have been drawn directly from a mixture of onirism and JMW Turner landscape painting , but with much more calmness . A delight for the eyes . Buon Giorno !

A very beautiful photo, the colour of clouds is great, and the silver light on the water as well, but I wonder if the placing of the subject so close to the border was a good thing...

Any way, looks like a paradise lost...

A beauty Paolo, indeed we see mostly sunny blue skies and see from there, you shot shows how impressive these clouds can be seen from these islands and their immense beaches.
Fine framed with the boat aside and I like the gradiant colotones to yellow and the reflection of the light in the sea a lot. Did you liked these islands a lot, worth to visit ?

WOW che nuvoloni, ..forse non è quello che uno si aspetta dalle Maldive, però, da un punto di vista fotografico... e poi, se queste erano le uniche nuvole che hai trovato.. . non so se sarò altrettanto fortunato in settembre... :o)
La foto beneficia moltissimo delle condizioni del cielo, che, le dona un'atmosfera decisamente accativante.. ottima la composizione, ..buona settimana.. e che l'estate arrivi!!!!

I like the mood of this image...very calm, soft and tranquil.I like the orange marked by falling rain that divides between sea and sky and the rays of light reflected off the water.
Nicely composed with the boat though maybe a touch tight.Had a look at your gallery...very nice.

Bella foto Paolo, non sono molto d'accordo sulla posizione cosi estrema della barca, l'avrei portata un poco verso il centro, non tanto, ma il paesaggio e l'atmosfera sono splendidi, complimenti.

I love the sun rays just coming through the clouds, the whole composition is so relaxign to view. A seascape worthy of Turner.

Hi Paolo - this may lack the orange and magenta glows of the sunset photos, but I think the contrast of the shimmering sea against the brooding sky creates an even more dramatic impression. I wish the boat was a few cm. further to the right.
