Photographer’s Note

This picture was took from the prow of a Dhoni, the typicl boat of the Maldives.
We used Dhoni all days to did diving on the reef and in the Oceanic Passes.
The small islands on the right side are the Dighufinolhu atolls, on Malè South.
We went at Maldives in the last week of February to have the full-moon, when there is the corals reproduction, when during the night diving is possible too see all the sea colored of pink.

A great photo. Everyuthing is so BLUE! And it doesnt come out boring. I tried a photo of a blue building on a blue sky but it didnt come out as nice as this.

che bei ricordi!!! a Dhigufinolhu ci sono stato nel 2000.
mese scorso sono stato a Helengeli e mi hanno detto che Dhigufinolhu è stata colpita dallo tsunami. per ora è completamente chiusa e non sanno se riaprono. peccato!!!

And blue it is! What I like the most in this image it’s that it’s almost surreal. In such an original colored atmosphere, a “strange” object popping-up bringing an abstract element into a familiar landscape is quite creative.

In this one a noise removal tool could help with the textures especially in the sky. You may try download Neat Image for free, or the tool in Paint Shop Pro graphical program.

Paolo, Good capture here. Feels like i'm alongside enjoying this view. The blues of the sky and the water along with the Robinson Crusoe-looking islands all come together well in this composition. Good note too. Thanks.
