Photographer’s Note

I've been to the Maldives twice and taken a couple of hundred photos and I think this one is my favourite. I'm a novice Scuba-diver and at the time I was just drifting above a reef with the current, trying not to flap around like most novice divers do. Holding my breath - you're not supposed to when diving but it ensures you keep still which helps photography! I drifted right into and through this shoal of fish, and they just carried on doing their thing, making a gap around me. Levels have been altered (works wonders for underwater photos) and sharpened after re-size.

the beauty of underworld. seldom i see this king of picture on this TE. its colorful and very clear picture. I dont know if the blue water on top is noise or just part of the sea.

I selected this picture from the list of new photo's because I really loved it! I didn't know you were the photographer. It's only now that I realise it's yours!! :) Great picture. Very, very cool. :) It's almost like you're one of the fish ... unbelievable how close you could come to them.

I love this photo. The blue and yellow really go well together. I am a keen diver, although I have not been recently. I have taken a few underwater photos, but they really do lack color. I think I will have to try some photoshop magic.

Nice shot andy. Reminds me of my diving trips. I am thinking about getting a waterproof case for my sony, but they are expensive. Was this taken with a disposable or your own camera in a case? Well done
