A typical bird you can easily observe on the most islands of the Maldives. It is a Grey Heron, and his main activity is to wait for some fishes and for some tourists photographies !

Fantastic composition. The Grey heron looks as tall as the coconut tree... Thats the greatness I see here.. the divisions of the frame is well used here to project the dimensions well. congrats for such a fabulous shot.

Great shot with the heron on frontplan and the slight OOF back, the bird extremely well enlightened on the guiding tree, a perfect spotting scene in its environment with excellent colors/contrast, a high quality shot, well done Thomas, I enjoy this one.

Quelle belle image, un héron cendré sur sue vielle branche avec des palmiers, elle me fait vraiment rêver,m mangifique cadrage, on voi que la branche a été brûlée en partie, mai l'oiseu n'est pas trop lourd même s'il a avalé une tonne de poissons.
Superbe.

Ta gallerie est très interessante et riche. Cette photo me plait beaucoup car elle est riche en éléments: les palmiers, le tronc d'arbre, l'oiseau, la plage...
Un petit reproche pour le regard de l'oiseau, on aurait bien aimer savoir aussi ce qu'il regarde.

There is a nice composition, Thomas. Colors makes me stomach ache, perfect. It's realy harm pic is so small. Nice position to take this shot. And that crooked palms... Realy realy I like it so much !

What a dreamy photo !!!!! In Malta I never seen see a bird like that.I am sure that i am not going to see because in here they never existed birds like that. It looks soo beautiful, and the beach is just like a dream as well.The colours are so warm - and the sharpness is great.

Picture postcard perfect! A stunning composition that is well framed and captured. That tiny frond in the top left corner is a little distracting but could easily be cloned out.
