February is the month of fast changing weather in the Maldives. The rain was imminent, and the black tropical clouds were frightening Minutes later the rain started to fall, I had hardly the time to run for cover..

Bonjour Izzet,
Le titre colle vraiment avec la photo, ce ciel noir et bas ne présage rien de bon. Il ne masque toutefois pas les merveilleuses couleurs de cette mer.
Vite, tous à l'abri !!

hi izzet, very surrealistic view over the see: looks like the place was invaded by ufo/et, then abandoned and now an expert from the local tv arrived and recorded what happened; very exceptional shot

Hi Izzet,
The wide angle makes the sky look even more dramatic, it's so stretched out. I guess it's thanks to the polarizer that the ocean has so many different colors, that creates an interesting effect, and makes the picture darker - increasing the drama. I like the centred composition, the pier leading the eye out to the boat. The perspective slightly from above makes the boat look small in comparison to the ocean. Thanks for sharing

ce genre de temps me rappelle un peu la Martinique, où tu voyais arriver un gros nuage chargé de pluie, un deluge d'eau, et une temperature qui chutait de 30 à ... 29°C !
J'aime le cadrage dans lequel la place laissée aux couleurs chaudes est reduit par ces couleurs froides, qui annoncent la pluie. Le ponton amene un dynamisme, renforcé par la distorsion du grand angle.

Izzett, indeed a very dramatic sky, and colours. A good POV and really like the composition of the whole picture. The wooden walkway to the boat looks a bit blurry, maybe because NI?...other than that I find the whole picture to be a good solid presentation. Thanks

Great shot Izzet!

You've captured the stormy clouds very well! I find shooting weather quite difficult; as impressive as the weather can be- it's hard to make it your main subject. You've overcome that issue very well with this shot. Adding the boat and dock into the photo was a very good idea. The composition is excellent.

Another one of your fantastic shots. The bridge, the boat, the water, the sky... everything is great, a great composition. I wounder if it would have been better without that other boat, very different at least, more solemn.
