Photographer’s Note
Image took with a small camera waterproof, at around 8 meters underwater on the Dighifinolou reef.
a Clown Fish, really aggressive, controlled his "home".

Today is the 25th of April, the Liberation Day of Italy. In that day the II° World War ended with the partisans and the Usa troups that entered in Milano.

Ciao Paolo
Good outdoor 'aquarium' shot, of the tropical sea-life & coral on the reef. Excellent color & lighting. Congratulations!

Hello Paolo, I HATE when you do that !
It's too hard to see a little nemo in perhaps the most faboulos undersea in the world that are the maldives !
The nemo is really in front but we can still see it, and i can imagine how aggressive he was ;)
Lovely purple anemone too

Fine dividing in a dark and coloured diagonal half, Paolo.
Good strong colours.
Thanks and regards, Gerrit

And I thought it was an acquarium. But it's Real Deep Purple. An aggresive clown, too bad. Peaceful Maldives, serene and beautiful underwater scene, then the purple color and the small orange really stand out. So he grabs your attention and then attacks you...!

I wonder if Luko will come. Mr. Luko I should say. The guy has tons of genius shots and his PBase gallery is underwater photography:) I was actually shocked by that expecting his monks and street photos.
Back to your photo. The colors here are shockingly strong. A bit overexposed on the reef. I wonder though how you shoot underwater. No flash, right? Natural light only? It seems to me like a difficult undertaking. Im glad you posted this, there really arent many shots like this on TE. Seems like that world is really underrepresented here. A shame as theres great potential there for photos.

Ciao Paolo,
There are not many genuine underwater shots and even Luko did not upload any here, I think you got here great results with this small underwater camera, the fish color is very interesting, not usual for us in Europe but there the whole color palette is available !
Buona giornata,

Hi Paolo - beautiful underwater image, the purple coral really stamds out and somewhat detracts attention from the cute little clownfish, I also like the diagonal perspectoive

Hi Paolo,
That's a nice underwater picture, especially given that you took it with a small camera waterproof (the one that you can throw away after developing the roll I imagine...). Sure we can see it's not a very sharp image but still pleasant to the eye, with great colors and good comp'. You never know how hard it is to take pic' while snorkeling untill you actually try!!
That's what I did on my last vacation in the Maldives (I was flying back home on the 25th of may), and I still have to make develop the roll...I hope I'll get some good ones as yours ;o)
TFS!
Cheers,
Pris.
