Photographer’s Note
I saw on TE several Sweeping Monks themes, like a leitmotiv... As some of you seem to enjoy seeing people sweeping in the early morning, here is a special one. Ok, it's not a monk but at least he's sweeping the beach at sunrise :)
In resort islands, beaches are sweeped everyday to clean it up from seaweeds and plastic trashes...
I took this one on my last day in the maldives. I slept very little this night as I didn't want to miss this sight in the other side of the island (only 10 minutes walk). It was my only sunrise after many sunsets as the one I posted a few days ago.
And you know it's funny because, at sunsets, you can see people actually seeking for a good spot to enjoy the sight whereas for sunrise...you barely see tourists...you rather see sweeping men and that's it.
I posted a WS, which is in fact another version of the sweeping man a few seconds earlier. I finally decided I'll post this one where he is actually in action ;o)

Bonne soiree,
Jean-Yves

the early bird catches the best sunrises..........strange concept, sweeping the beach by hand, but why not. Nicely placed silhouette and teh slight grain/noise IMO adds to this composition.

Hello Prisley, this is a nice golden sunset view. The silhouettes add interest. It's a fairly standard composition but attractive nonetheless.

Beautiful sunset, Prisley! Nice to see the sun out of center. The silhouettes are nice and sharp. Nice to see the man, who adds some life to this wonderful moment! Workshop is also great!
All the best!
Zeca
