Less than one month after the Moroccan dunes, i found myself swimming in the turquoise waters of Indian Ocean. C'est la vie...
Despite all the trip forums which warned the visitors about May being the "wet season", Maldives, located around the Equator line, had more sun than any other places on other parallels.
This is the Diffushi Island on Ari Atoll. The white, flour-like sand comprises crushed coral reefs and the beauty of sea color is due to that White sand at the bottom. The sea temperature is around 29-30degC while it is 33-34degC outside.

This is a WOW place as well as your image! I wish to be there now! Extremely beautiful and exotic landscape post. Very well selected POV to give us a sense of the space. Brilliant work!

it´s like a paradise just few hours flight away.I enjoy the strong contrast between turquoise water, blue sky and green vegatation on the island.

Le nuvole sembrano rispecchiare le onde del mare, o viceversa? Paradisiaco.

I like the effect of using wide angle lens in this image with lots of space in the foreground and the island appearing to be somewhere in the distance.
Great colours too.

Ciao e buon fine settimana

This is truly wonderful in all sense of the word. The lady probably unaware of what you were doing from behind has come out as the focal point of the frame. The use of wide angle lens has given its maximum effect by creating a scene of fantasy.TFS.

c'è ben poco da dire, il luogo è un vero paradiso, fare fotografie in queste condizioni, è estremamente piacevole, in questi giorni è impossibile trovare un cielo giusto, figuriamoci un mare di queste proporzioni.

Hello Deniz - You must have died and gone to heaven! Beautiful colours and a shot that makes me want to pack my bags and fly straight there. I have to say the sun-worshiping figure makes the shot. Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Deniz. Vacation in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Such exotic photos explain themselves - the Maldives show here at its best. The islands are something for people who want to relax. I will probably never come to the Maldives, I am constantly in action.
abmdsudi (36344) 2013-05-26 5:46
The trip to this beach is definitely the most rewarding of the week when the sun shines up there. The sand, sea and sky take on such wonderful colouring as your shot today shows. Nicely done shot, but i frankly feel this slightly lack of sharpness, Congrats.

I'm very envious of your travel, this looks absolutely beautiful! Plain and simple, letting the clear waters and sunshine speak for itself. :) This is something that, although understated in subject matter, packs a strong visual because of its minimal nature. The addition of the lady in the foreground not only adds depth, but a great idea of just how shallow the water is and wonderful sense of good 'ol fun in the sun! A relaxing and remote atmosphere on fine display, well done. Thanks for sharing part of this blissful location. Have a nice evening.
ktanska (23442) 2013-05-26 11:18
A spectacular wide angle shot of this small tropical island. The white sand glows so brightly through shallow water that I hardly see where the waterline is exactly. The lady is well placed as a small but essential detail.

You poor soul, suffering through the rainy season in the Maldives! I don't have an ounce of sympathy for you!
Back to the photograph, this could be included in a tourism brochure. I love the inclusion of the sunbather. Nice wide angle view, exquisite POV.
mkamionka (28422) 2013-06-03 7:42
now this is how I have imagined Maldives...
I like very much the colors -interesting contrast of the blue sky and greenish waters of the ocean. Pleasant gradient of the green color from the white shallow waters in the foreground.
The girl adds very much interest here. Pity that she is so far away.
Amazing how secluded is this place. It must have cost a fortune to have vacation there. Thanks for sharing it so that we have something to dream about :)

Merhaba dear Deniz
Ahhh now this is the life! The lady lazing in the water tells the story perfectly. This is a photo of superb quality, it could easily be in a magazine. The effect of the wispy clouds is perhaps the most important element, it combines beautifully with the strong colours of the sky and the limpid waters. The eye is guided very cleverly towards the horizon. An idyllic photo that convinces me even more that I deserve a holiday :)
Thanks for sharing, have a great day

C'est La vie!!
hard to believe I missed this one in your gallery!
Oh what i'd give to be sitting here too, taking in some of that warm water and warm sun.
cool to see the benches out on the sandy beach in the middle too, I'll even take that!
love the wide open look to the shot and the subject, and of course adding the human element works well here too.
Hope all is ok in your homeland...
