Photographer’s Note
This is a picture of a sampan. It's pronounced 'sum-parn' in English. It's the same boat which you see in my Penang Tropical Spice Garden series.
Sampans are usually used by fishermen when they go out to the sea to fish. It's not used in deep waters though. Also, in some parts of Malaysia it's used as the main transportation where rivers are more commonly used rather than roads.
This particular sampan, serves no purpose and is for aesthetic use in the spice garden. I think the owner must have got a real sampan and placed it in the pond.
I like this picture and I hope you like it too.
Cheers

Excellent! Lovely contrasts in textures and colours, and the composition is spot-on!

Excellent close up shot of this small boat. The position of the boat in the composition is just right and the long paddle adds interest. The water color and the reflections on the water create a very pleasant atmosphere.
If I may suggest 2 slight improvements: Some of the wood tiles on the boat are very bright so a burn in that area will probably fix it. At the top, a part of the path is seen and I find it a bit distracting. Using the clone tool to cover it with some of the green can fix it.

Very nice contrast in colours. What I like here is that you really get the impression that you can step into the boat and start a trip on the pond.

Good photo!
I like the diferent shades of green. The water almost looks like fog, giving the boat an extreme sensation of exotic and hidden. The contrast between the boat colour and the green is also great.
Keep up the good work!

Yahwen. My honest opinion. This is got to be your strongest photo so far. Graphic with linearity and strong colors and composition. Just so well done here. So graphically simple and yet so much coming from this photo.

Hi YahWen,greetings.
I like this sampan shot very much as it is well rendered in sharpness and clarity. The texture of the its wooden body is lovely and well seen. the calm soft water is very attractive too.
The diagonal composition is simply effective.
