Photographers Note
Kampung Morten ( Morten Village ) is one of Malaysian national heritage site, and also accepted by UNESCO world heritage at 01 July 2008. It is located next to the Melaka River (Sungai Melaka). It was named after J.F. Morten, who was the Commissioner of Land in the early 1920s during the early history of the village.
At the end of 1922, 6 families from Kampung Johol had migrated to Kampung Morten and there were the first pioneer settlers & residents of this village. They were later followed by others villagers from Kampung Johol, Kampung Jawa Pantai, Kampung Jawa Tengah and Kampund Selak Darat Serambai.
The brown color object beside the green garbage at left named " Gasing " is one of the traditional playing of Malay ethnic.

The architecture is very different from that on your previous post in your capital city. :D You have used the perspective very well in your composition so our eye travels all the way along the street. Well done

Hi Ally! You have attributed with beautiful way the architecture that prevails here, and in ws too with very important way! I see the persons there placing in their residence their personnel style and taste and they create that better than that the next man in his house and this makes exist the general interest of Unesco

Hi Ally,
The diagonal line of the street is an asset to the composition allowing us to have a view from left to right. The details and colors of the architecture of the houses are clear and sharp. The light nrinmgs out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello, Ally -
An ordinary scene well captured. The sky is a little dull, but the house colors are beautiful, and overall it gives a real sense of daily life in the best TE tradition.
