Photographer’s Note

The old Sarawak State Mosque is a very humble version of its kind compared to some others in the region. Here, the domes of the minarets are simply painted in bright golden colour. In contrast, all the domes at the State Mosque of the oil-rich Brunei are cladded with 24 carats golden glass mosaic.

Nevertheless, this newly re-painted building provides a photo opportunity when there was blue sky and clouds awaiting my polariser.
