Photographer's Note
Desaru, Malaysia International Long Distance Triathlon.
Consisting of a 2km swim, 90km bikeride, & 21km run- all under the scorching sun.
I followed my brother up to Malaysia for some support and to take some photos for the event- which he was taking part in. I managed to capture some pretty good shots, so I'll most likely be posting a few of them over the coming week.

Good shot about the moving ..
by nature it's very painfil to run on sand .like that ; becauyse the sans is aborsobing 100% of you energy . and you can
collect the jumping effect for the next path

Hello Dan :)
Haha! Excellent title and illustration. The word is right : "Determination". Here the dynamism is well-rendered by the faces's expression. In this context (start), I like the little humor touch of the sign "Start / Finish" too. Good luck! ;-). More seriously again a nice shot and interesting note, Dan.

Hi Daniel,
Very good, but you should have been stood in the water awaiting for the splash of the triathletes as the ran in for their swim. Would have made a much better shot, I think.
Not bad what you have here though.
Regards,
Vic, Singapore.

I missed this posting. A really cool one man. I really like the long framing. The details are sharp. The shot has alot of energy. Very well composed. Cheers!
... and thanks for not using that frame again ;-) hahaha!

It must be those tight sinews and bulging muscles of these grim looking, naked men. Especially the guy, on center with cool blue shades. He is pretty dynamic and getting him on center really draws attention. Great work with this Dan.

Excellent action scene. This start is clearly well captured. The exposure time is enough to fix all runners.
Very good Dan.
