Photographer's Note

A few minutes before sunset, Penang's slice of the Indian Ocean at the background becomes a scenic spot where boats start to "park" near the shore and touristy places like this Old Colonial House start to get quiet and empty again.

The green verdant grass is courtesy of rich precipitation in Penang. Not too far from here a few years ago, a tsunami toppled boats and some structures, a reminder that having an ocean nearby is both a blessing and a challenge.
