The river near my house.
Sometimes we forget that we actually have beautiful surrounding waiting to be photograph. The river that we see here was totally different as compared to 10 - 15 years ago. It is because FLOODS change the landscape.
About this picture:I did some adjustment on shadow/highlight. Did some sharpening as well. Taken at 5 pm. I'm having difficulties with colour adjustment.(my weaknesses) |

this photo looks very threatening! I love the colour and texture of the water - it adds to the mood of the threatening storm. Good point of view, good composition and a lovely depth of field. Alas I have no more smileys(over my quota of 15 per day) - i'll give you two tomorrow. mark
