[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken about 2 weeks after I bought my Nikon D80 at the end of Aug 2007, experimenting an early morning shot of "my village" from a different vantage point.

I had use ISO640 and f/4.5 then, which I feel now is not the best setting for a low light landscape shot.
Rotated and cropped only for posting.

Thanks for viewing and your feedbacks are welcome.

Regards
Alfred

Hello Alfred,

This is a huge village by any means. I like the image across the water. The light of the evening did a nice job to create an interesting atmosphere. Good sharpness and colour saturation. The city seem very modern. Thanks Alfred.

Hello Alfred,
Beautiful shot of your village, i like this POV.
Great reflections, colour & detail, the blue sky& water look magical.
Well done
Thanks
Santo
PS If you have a tripod I would say use a lower ISO rating but what would I know.

I am happy to see a D80 in an expert's hand. The view and perspective is vintage as you said it. The wall makes good leading perspective as it turns at Hilton. The architecture at the far end are in superb sharpness and excellent reflection. The opposite bank balances well in the perspective with is stunning against the spotless blue sky. Well done for an excellent work. Best regards. Jusni

Despite the lapse of time, composition and pov stays relevant and as good as can be, perhaps only settings may have adjustment to get variety of effect. The capture of the moment and calm reflection cannot be replaced. Good work.

According to some experts the setting was surely not the best for a low light photo. However, I believe the final result is excellent with nice colours and very sharp too. I like it.

Ciao Alfred,
very beauty view, my preferred thing id the saturation of colours, specially the blue of the sky it's very intense, also the lights reflected in the water are very shining.
You call "village" this big and wonderful city, in italy i never seen a simila village... and never seen a similar city too :)
Ciao,
Davide
