I think it's a funny thing to spot and the photograph is well taken. The background is nice and the off-center placement, colours and detail are pleasant as well. But your story make the photograph. Without a note it would really be what is actually is; a stick in the water ;-).

Hello Bill. How can you do better? You have done well in spotting this potentially excellent graphical shot in the first place. The color and saturation is just stunning and polarizer worked well here on the image. The light brings out excellent contrast against the blue and I believe rather hazy sky. You have anchored the pole and the net right on the sweet spot Bill and one might want to include the reflection in the frame but what you have done is just fine. I like it, especially orange and white contrasting so well here. Well done and have a wonderful weekend. Best regards. Jusni
