[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Sabah, if you are after long white sandy beaches, you wouldn't go wrong keeping your itinerary along the west coast. You can find nice long white beaches and usually deserted in the Kudat Peninsula.

There's no nice beaches on the east coast. You couldn't find a decent one in Sandakan, Semporna, Kunak and Tawau. But...you should try the islands this side of Sabah. While Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai are dive islands, you could find nice short deserted beaches on islands up north.

A good one would be Maiga like you see in the photo. And if you favored rock climbing or island adventure, go see Bohey Dulang Island.

Have a nice weekend.

Hello Rabani,

You must have captured about the only real moment of action of the whole day. I remember lazing around on one of Sabah's beaches some time too long ago. Your upload makes me want to go back...

Benny

Hello Rabani,
Good composition with the palmtrees at one side, the big clouds at the other and the diving guy in the middle.
This picture represents a holiday in paradise.
Greetings, Paul

This beach and this fellow are looking happiness!
Good shot in the right moment of the jump: the beach atmosphera is so quiet, and the jump gets a great dynamic in the scene.

Dear Rabani, I hope to have a little time, two weeks or a littkle more, to go to Malaysia, and you are convincing me that this part of Sabah is the better for relax in beautiful landscapes being also able to have some tour around, not only beach.

Ciao!!

Assalamualaikum Rabani. There were times when I spent all my pocket money, not leaving the extra 5 sen for the bus fare home from school in my primary school years. Coincidental on not, the number of kids with the same situation were sometimes in a rather big crowd. The opportunity of walking home were always pleasurable because we would make a stop at one of the small canal for a skin dipping routines. Back with uniforms and headed home but never failed to be spotted by my parents for having red eyes. Punishments absorbed with little remorse as the offense would definitely be repeated. This top quality first class image reminded me of the stunt we were doing along those canals. Brilliant work and very well done. Thanks for sharing and have a pleasant day ahead. Wasallam. Jusni

Hi Bani,

I suppose this is Maiga during high tide, but i cant recall exactly where this is. The composition is perfect, so i imagine you got yourself ready and ask the boy to do a somersault which is so well captured in action as you always do.

We are still tempted to go back for a second visit.

Regards
Alfred

This shot has it all...The action, the depth, the clarity. The clouds, the setting, the clear water...everything is perfect. I also appreciate that the colors are not over processed and oversaturated. An excellent photo.
Best regards, I hope I could visit your country someday.
