[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
1st Day:

About an hour mountain biking away from the starting point at Inobong, Penampang (if you are not lost along the way) is the Kionsom Waterfall. The rope runs across above the waterfall and while the outfitter suggested the athletes to enjoy the view, none did. The athletes were too much engrossed in getting across to the other side to mind how the view was. Either that, they had gone past caring with another 40 over rough terrain kilometers to think about.

In the 1st day, after this waterfall, they had to go push their mountain bike up a steep concrete road for about 3km to kg. Bambangan and then careened down to Kg. Poring Poring before leveling off to kg. Tombongon Menggatal.

From Tombongon Menggatal, they would take the dirt trail to Kg. Natai and then Kg. Talungan before proceeding to transition point at Kg. Kiulu where they would ditch their bikes for the short run upriver for the tubing. And from the tubing section, mountain bike back to Kg. Malanggang's campsite before sundown.

The best team made it just after 4pm whilst the stragglers came in after dark. On setting foot at the campsite, most had run in the first leg of about 60km of rural and dirt road. Some had gone longer, looking for or getting back to the right trail.

hi Bani

Action shot such as this is hard to come by and a vintage angle shoot is what you have here. I can imagine how tough it is to get a pov and not to miss any shots. Experience counts for action shoot like this and you have done remarkably well here. Were you using single or continuous mode?
