Photographer's Note
At a hot afternoon, just before the show starts. Everyone in the theatre is enjoying refreshingly cold coke.
I remember when I was a little girl, we used to drink coke like this way, poured from glass bottles into plastic bag that full with ice-cubes. Usually we did take away from coffeeshop during a hot day and enjoyed it under fan. (time when air-cond is not yet popular.)
Somehow glass bottle is not common now, replacing by can coke. So when I see this scene it recalls me some past time, you know, this tradisional theatre also something belongs to the past memory.

I remember seeing this in Honduras during the Independence Day Parade. Instead of carrying glass bottles around they poured the coke into plastic bags with straws and tucked the bottles away to be recycled (yes, real glass, not plastic like we have in the US now...) Great subject!

I'm surprised this hasn't been critiqued more than it has, Shih Wei, given that it's been viewed more than 300 times. The lighting is excellent and composition good, and you have certainly captured the feeling that it is a hot day behind those tarpaulins. I also like the similarity between the colours of the costume and the colours of the tarpaulins. Cheers . . . David
