I absolutely love this beach. To avoid the crowds that usually arrive on the weekends, go on weekdays. 9 times out of 10, you'll get the whole beach to yourself (which can be freaky or absolute perfection - depending on what you're looking for ;)
If you decide to ride the speedboat to the beach or wanna get back to civilization by boat, you have to jump into the boat which will wait for you at the end of the jetty. It's then a 20-min boat-ride back to the boat landing and to your car.
As I was composing this pic, I noticed the bug (beetle?) crawling out from under the leaf.... perhaps I could have cropped this shot tighter to give more emphasis on the bug but I intended to capture the wide landscape instead :) |
