Photographer’s Note
Firstly allowed me to inform everyone that I do not understand Mandarin (shame of me as I am a chinese myself).
Well, this is another picture, close up on the my previous posting DEDICATE TO THE BARBER . Basically the Mandarin words says "If there should be any problem with the ears, with bust, the prescribe medicine will heal and cure. Also for skin problem like eczema, ring worms and etc. AH CHAN EAR'S EMPEROR (The line in the middle)". Anyone who can read better please correct if I am wrong.
The next time I am there I will surely get a hair cut without using machine but just depending on his skill and experience on bare scissors.

Hi Adam,
Very very good POV.
I like this composition
The Bamboo underlining the mirror with THE BARBER is a very good idea.
The ternary composition is really symbolic system.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice sepia picture and I really like the frame. More importantly is the photo, your composition is fantastic! I love the reflection and the chinese text. Very good picture.

This is really very good, Adam, the position of the bamboo pole alog the diagonal just below the mrror, the Chinese cgracters on the wall to the right, the face of the man squarely in the mirror, and the nostalgic tonal treatment applied.
Yes, it speaks to me.
Best wishes,
Francis

Fantastic photograph Adam...
Some great lines creating some real good geometric shapes. The mirror reflection looks like a true portrait of a worker. Tonewise the photo is amazing, the sepia tint was well handled and looks great.
Cheers,
Chris.

Hi Adam,
What a strange and wonderful object that pole is.
The reflected barber and your tone both amplify the feeling of age .. beautiful and evocative image.
take care,
John

Splendidly composed, Adam.
A picture with an essence, with charm...
What's bothers me is that cute, fuzzy frame around...
What was your intention?
To make 'THAT' sort of excellent photography looking cute or what?
Still...Catchy stuff..
