Photographer’s Note
This place named Kampung Ayer, located in the outskirts of KK is very short distance of the best 5* hotel in Borneo, right on the same beach, could you believe it...
I used to spend some afternoons there shooting pictures and met interesting people. The main problem is of course garbage as you may notice here, add low tide and a little sun on it, it's a pure smell delight.
However I was quite surprised not to meet poor people to say, India standards, but a mix of fishermen and middle class (ok, malaysian standards) working people, happily passing their sunday afternoon watching TV or strolling with the kids.
From this experience I would never go near the seashore without wandering through the alleys of a stilt village.

What can I say, very good shot! It's a kind of beauty in this decay and the people add the little extra. You think of how they really look, their faces I mean. Are they happy or sad? This mysticism is wonderful to say the least.
Colours, composition and detail are great also!

very interesting picture, there is something attracting... a neat dressed woman with a child and a lot of garbage in the water... interesting contrast... I really like this picture.

This is a great photo! I reminds me so much of places I have been, and places I've lived. Oh, and the composition draws you in, and your eye moves from one point of interest to another. Well done.

Nicely captured daily life. Your composition is superb and sharpness in almost all the of areas in the photo. An artist is a person that makes art of something looks very ordinary. You have done a strong work of art out of this image.
