An old photo from my collections.
Mother (on left with traditional hat)with her friends and great granddaughters, was harvesting peanut.
It was a trial planting for us trying to look for alternative produce for sell. Unfortunately, it wasn't successfull or viable enough to be continued.
However, the memories are full of nostalgia.. we tried many type of crops (as suggested by the gov.), and at the end now, we remain planting just paddy on this place.
* shot was done using old fashion yashica. |

Hi DA,
You shot a beautiful portrait of this family. I like their shy half smiles and the nice, warm atmosphere of the picture. B&W makes the shot look retro, which gives additional charm to it.
Nicely done!
Saule.

A very nice family group and yes it could be a very old photo the way it has been presented, its an unusual subject too.

lovely portrait. Love the B&W and the soft tone. It certainly evokes a sense of nostalgia.
Could hardly have time for TrekEarth this year end, but could not resist to login to put some remark on this photo of yours.
Great shot DA! It is appropriately be in black n white. Beautiful family at work. Your storyline resembles a lot with mine...

hmm i have to say you have a good portrait of smiling family members there.. i guess you took the family photo album and scanned... i just love old slr... i like the weight of it. you can have a steady shot with the old2 camera BAH! he3.. no jittering Bah..
anyway DA, i dont have much comment, im not a good judge in portrait.. however i should say the dof is good.. its only that some of the people are not in focus. probably due to the f-number inappropriate adjusted. however i believe you have a great time seeing this picture. thanks for sharing DA, this reminds me of my familly members too...
