Sunsuron, Tambunan Photo

Photographer’s Note

If you are travelling from Kota Kinabalu to the interior part of Sabah, you will 1st cross a beautifull valley of Tambunan district. And the 1st village you'll meet is Kg. Sunsuron which is noticeable from uphill highway about 10-15 minutes away from the village. And before reaching Sunsuron you will pass by a row of vegies market, which is among a favourite stop area, where the villagers are selling all kind of local produce from fresh vegies, fruits, preserved food and etc.

Just like other villages in Tambunan, most of the villagers are paddy/rice farmers. The rolling greens of fields on the valley here is actually the rice fields wchic is about 4 months old. Harvesting probably on early middle December or January.

From Tambunan, the highway will leads you to Keningau, Tenom, Nabawan and Pensiangan.

A nice photo with good colors. Like the couldscape.
It is a shame about the wires on the bottom right, Iwould suggest cloning them out as wellas cropping the left a little more to get rid of that little twigg sticking out.

Fantastic sky.the green also looks very attractive.The colour tone is very nice.There is a wire at the bottom right but still not a major issue to me.

about the wires, i think thats excludable bah! moreover, it is hardly noticable, not untill i read through Limaz notes only did i found that lines. however, this shot is just a nice capture of the surroundings... have been to tambunan before but not for long... but no regrets, I'll be back=)

This is well done DA. The overhanging clouds over a sun spotted village. Keep on walking and exploring your countryside my friend. To be a good photographer, you don't have to shoot the streets of India, the Great Wall of China or the bloodied streets of Iraq. Those places are crowded with photographers and journalists. Work with your country instead. Love and live it.
