[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These opera actors were paying respect to the King of Hell. During to Hungry Ghost Festival (somewhat similar to Halloween), the gate of hell will be open, and the ghost are allowed to roam around. To gather these ghost in a safe place, people set up Chinese Opera by the road side.

I'm always attracted to Chinese Opera, even though I'm not a ghost. I could stay for hours watching the play without understand what was the message. Most of the shows are sung in Teow Chew dialect which sounds funny to my ear.

Don't under estimate these road side play. It might not be as good as Cats or Phantom of the Opera, but the costumes worth more than what you can imagine.
