Photographer’s Note
This photograph was taken in a small tamu in Miri. There're always interesting stuff around on a busy market day like this, be it the seller themselves or their wares from the interior. In this particular instance, I was taken by the gentleman's unique headgear and colorful outfit. Nikon F4s+AF135/2.8DC @f5.6.

A forgotten shot that deserved more than just my comment!
Unique headwear and if you look closely it seems this gentleman used to wear heavy ear rings too, such as the Orang Ulus (or is it Penans?) do.
(By any chance, Nazeri would you have images taken in Bario)
Looks to me he's selling a bunch of parangs... Very adequate DOF, I like very much how the background guys are filling the space.

Seems to me this is exactly the kind of shot which should appeal to TE viewers but seems not. The clarity and dof is superb and I expect the gareish clothing is part of the attempt to attract customers to his meagre wares.
