One view of the Gulf of Siam Photo

Photographer’s Note

This shot remember me the wonderufl paint of Katsushika Hokusai, author of the block prints 24 Views of Mount Fuji.
The paint number 18, the Mt Fuji from the Offing in Kanagawa is the one the i feel most closest to that image.

That sunset was captured at Perhentian Kecil, the smallest of the 2 island of the omonymous archipelago.
I waited more than 1 hour to have THE wave, the biggest one broken on the giant rocks of the Perhentian coasts.

This shows your talent and also your patience as a photographer. Painting like view, I'm sure dur to both the high contrast and the blurred sky.

Who would mind waiting 1 hour with this view to see. Your patience was rewarded big time. The colours are wonderful and the splash against the sky looks so unusual.
Co-incidentally I came across this one yesterday you might be interested to see.

Again a scanning picture, very colored through the intensity of the sun, it's not easy a scanning picture without noise, nice composition too!

Devo essere sincero? Hai sbagliato il titolo per me, avrei preferito "Fractals", e tagliato un po sopra e sotto, l'onda al centro mi fa pensare questo, ma complimenti per la pazienza che hai avuto e la bella riuscita e per questi bei frattali nascosti nella foto :-) Non ti arrabbiare.

That makes me think I bought a complete box of Hokusai Views of Fujisan. Great colors on your picture and the wave seems so weird I never thought it was one before I read your note. Very original and almost an experimental kind of composition.
