[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture in a great place in Bukit Bintang, I am not a great photographer but I felt like taking this girl's picture while focusing on the Arabic coffee pot in the background making it look natural.
It was a special moment of her smiling and without knowing I was there to take that smile and keep it forever in a picture.

Hello,
I like this shot. I'd say it's interesting and maybe a bit magic. It was a great idea to focus on the background. While looking at the photo, we see the girl for first and then the background; the fact that her face is out of focus helps to understand emotions you wanted to broadcast. That's why I like it.
Cheers,
Damian

I find this image the best of your gallery Ramy, the softness girl is great because her image leaves free my imagination, compliments.

this is definately your best image..and a pretty cool shot..the focus doesnt keep us from enjoying the lady's good looks and bright personality without...'losing' the atmosphere of the surroundings
very modern and graphic
cheers and thanks.

Hi Ramy,
From Pat's advice column: Always focus on the girlfriend, not the background. ;)
However I agree with the rest of your critiques. The unexpected focus on the interesting background is a unique perspective. My advice applies better to your relationship with your girlfriend than your photo.
Regards,
Pat

Ramy, Warm portrait with useful note. Usually a slightly cluttered background detracts but this is not the case here. Well composed. TFS. Murray.

i would have defiantly converted it to b&w, might have impacted the viewer more. its too yellow!
good DOF play
