[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sunset photos.... some say it's boring to shoot sunset because it is so common. But I still like sunsets no matter what. Sunrise ?Too early for me so it's a rare thing :)

This was taken in the Kudat district during my visit to Land's End (North tip of Borneo/Sabah) .

I was waiting for a subject and finally , a lonely boat came by :)

Looks like the sunrise i put online this morning! But with the boat in the background!(perfect timing!, i couldnt be bothered to wait for the boat in my photo, Would have been waiting for those greek fishermen for ages)
For me they aren't boring! When i look at sunsets/sunrises, I relax! something so tranquil about them!nice reflections!

Photography is like hunting. You need to know what you are hunting for, and when to shoot it. Waiting is a good thing here. For without a biological subject, the scene would be lifeless and just a golden graphical lonely impression of a sunset. You did well in waiting. In due time, get yourself a graduated Neutral Gray filter. With it, the setting sun will have better definition.
