| This is the 4th of a series of photos from our Mt. Kinabalu climb. This is somewhere in the beginning of the climb. The height from the steps are just about right, but after about 1 hour, some of the steps are more than knee high already. It is mostly like this for 8 hours till you reach Laban Rata (the resting place) before the summit assault the next morning |

Can't wait to see your shots of the summit. I've never been up there myself but have spent a few days at the resort. That was back in the late 60s.
