Photographer’s Note
Jacques Villeneuve spins his Sauber out of the race at turn one on lap 28 of the Malaysian Grand Prix last Sunday, 20th March 2004.
The brocure promised '...nothing beats experiencing the race at first hand at the Sepang circuit. Smell the burning rubber, hear the roaring thunder of the mean machines, see all the action live and join more than one hundred racing fans from around the world in cheering your idols and favourite teams. Its an experience beyond words...'
Personally, worth going to once to understand the speeds which these cars can achieve, but thereafter best remain at home to watch in the comfort of your armchair rather that fill the already bulging pockets of the race promoters.
The race was won by Fernando Alonso.
Cropped, framed and USM applied.
Regards,
Vic, Singapore. 21st March 2005

Hey!
Look who's back! Hahahaha...
Hello mate, nice shot you captured here. Great spin out, visible in the messed up pattern of the rocks and the cloud of dust. Shame the vehicle wasn't facing towards you...
I look forward to seeing the rest of them mate!
Welcome back,

Great capture and colours. It's great how the car is so sharp and the dust is billowing up into the air. A bit of cropping on the right and below would make the composition a bit more dynamic.

Hello Vic,
Is it a tribute to France ? This the colors of our national flag!
Excellent photo with the dust being greatly catched.

Very Nice picture. Technically OK. I wish I could go one day the visit KL. Very sad picture too. As Jacques is still my favorite driver! I hope you liked your experience despite the very hot temperature.
Looking at the GP, it seems they were not that many people on race Day. I am now talking of Day 1 and Day 2 , as on TV we saw could not see anybody in the grand stands!
How was it really ?

Hi Vic! It's nice to know you were in Sepang during the race...too bad I wasn't able to make it there (I'm here in Penang). This is a great action shot....the red, white and blue colors really are attractive! The dust really tells us how fast these cars are moving. Useful notes as well! rgds.

Hi Vic, dramatic action shot here. What a great PoV you got for the event, I guess a bit of luck involved there.

Hi Vic, how great to offer another contribution to my theme group on Formula 1 racing. It's been a while. And this one is truly great. With the 2005 season under way I hope to see some good ones. And I go myself to one race every year with my sons (this year probably Silverstone). And I can also add it to my colour theme group, so I really must count this among my favorites.

Hi Vic
A superbly composed image, with the very attractive red, white, & blue horizontal stripes, reminiscent of the Dutch or French flags. A very good action shot too, with excellent sharpness & dynamism. Well done!

Hello Vic,
Brilliant picture.
The car was so small that I was sure that it was a radio-controlled model.
Very nice composition which isn't easy in such a decisive moment.
Regards.

Superb composition, and a very nice capture indeed. My only suggestion would be to give it just a slight touch more saturation, for a little extra visual impact... That's just nitpicking on what's a truly great shot though.
