Perdana Park officially open to public on 30th January 2011 after official opening ceremony officiated by Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on 28th January 2011.
Located at Tanjung Aru near the famous beach of Kota Kinabalu. Sit in the place known as Hone Place where before this were goverment service home and also football field. Football field that 1st time I had my knee injury :-). It just 5km driving from Kota Kinabalu City Center.
Perdana Park was develop by Timatch Sdn Bhd with idea from Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman and Datuk Victor Paul. It also being managed by Timatch Sdn Bhd like as KLCC Park. Entrance for the park are free but parking have to pay.
There are many activities can be done at Perdana Park provide to public such as jogging trek, children playground and the most awaited by city folks are Musical Fountain. Musical fountain with colours of the light. This musical fountain performed starting 7pm and last about 10 minutes. And there will continue each half a hour and the last show was at 9.30pm. It will end with 1Malaysia song.
